"Mutt" has instantly become my favorite plant. Even passing up my 50 year old Thaumatophyllum. It has so much character and individuality.
I purchased several items and they were packed perfectly, lots of packing peanuts everywhere they needed to be, and a very solid box to keep a 40" cactus safe.
I seem to have been upgraded, because one of my 5-6" cuttings was 13". But every item was as described or better. One of my "seedlings" is 8" tall and had more developed roots than the annuals at a nursery.
I also had amazing communication from the seller who wanted to make sure I knew I was purchasing an old cactus vs a shiny new one, and went so far as to upload a video to his website for me, and responded promptly when I reached out via text with a eueation.
overall this purchase far exceeded my expectations.

1-2 stars on communication and shipping... have been a repeat buyer, not stoked at all with the amount it took (nearly 2 weeks) to ship, and not much communication (or even response when I attempted to communicate with them). Even got an email saying order had shipped (it hadn't), then got an email day or two later saying it would be shipping in a couple days... then some random email just saying "oops, they're drying"? Not sure why they lagged on this order, all other orders have been superb and fast. But again, cactuses and freebies great and appreciated.
Thanks for your order and comments, both are appreciated. Every order will receive an automated email with a tracking number along with some other info. It states cuttings can take a week to ship per needing to get cut and dried/calloused properly so our customers don't get a rotting cactus in their box. This email does not mean your order has shipped, simply means here's your tracking info. February and March were wet months for us here in Southern California, and they were also cooler. A bad combo for drying, even in our greenhouses the air was full of moisture. We let you know simply they were still drying, I'm in the greenhouses and outside, sometimes messaging isn't perfect between us here, but we let you know in simple terms. We appreciate everybody's business, it means a lot to us, and my cell is available to anybody that buys cactus, not many vendors do this. If you order again, hopefully things ship out quicker, I don't like orders sitting on tables waiting to dry either. And if you do order again, we'll likely refund you back a nice chunk not because we have to, but because we value our customers. Aloha and mahalo.
